My name is Sarah James and I am an aspiring historian and academic.

Besides this, I have also trained as a photojournalist and I am beginning to develop as a storyteller. I aim to tell the stories of those surrounding me, especially those who find themselves unable to tell their own stories, due to marginalisation based on race, gender, sexuality or religion.

Currently, I regard my interest in history and academia and my storytelling as two different aspects to my identity, however, I would like to learn to integrate the two.
